How to Enroll
We are currently accepting enrollments for Sheboygan Leadership Academy for the 2013 – 2014 school year for students 4K through 8th grade. The process is dependent on whether you are a Sheboygan Area School District resident or you reside outside of the Sheboygan Area School District. All students will need to complete two forms; one for open enrollment and one for enrollment at Sheboygan Leadership Academy. Please follow the steps below for the situation that applies to you.
NOTE: The State Open Enrollment for out of district transfers begins at midnight on Monday, February 4th, 2013 and ends on April 30th, 2013 at 4pm. The state does not allow any exceptions.
Student resides within the Sheboygan Area School District
The Sheboygan Leadership Academy is now accepting Transfer Requests for the 2013 – 2014 school year. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have questions.
All students will need to fill out and return an Intradistrict/Charter School Transfer Request using one of these two methods:
- Online Digital Submission (This is the preferred method. Be sure to check the verification box at the bottom of the page and then click the Go to Online Application button.)
- Download and Print
The intra-district enrollment window will end on February 15th. If the Sheboygan Leadership Academy receives more applicants than we have space for, a lottery will be held and acceptance letters will be mailed immediately following the lottery. Enrollment may be opened again following the lottery for classes that have not met the maximum capacity of 25 students.
Student resides outside of the Sheboygan Area School District
Students living outside the SASD boundaries need to complete the Open Enrollment process. This process must be completed between midnight on Monday, February 4th, 2013 and Tuesday, April 30th, 2013 at 4pm. The state does not allow any exceptions. During the Open Enrollment period you will need to complete and submit the form found at https://www2.dpi.state.wi.us/Opal2012 in addition to the two forms noted above in the section for students residing within the district.
